Look for these recipe identifiers:
Easy Recipe Level
For beginners, easy recipes are the perfect starting point. These recipes typically feature simple ingredients and straightforward cooking techniques, making them ideal for those who are just getting started in the kitchen. As you gain confidence and experience, you can gradually progress to more intermediate recipes, which may involve new ingredients and slightly more complex cooking methods.
Moderate Recipe Level
This level offers a step up from easy ones, requiring a bit more skill and experience. They may involve additional ingredients or slightly more complex cooking techniques. These recipes often provide an opportunity to learn new skills, experiment with different flavors, and expand your culinary repertoire. While they may require a bit more time and attention than easy recipes, moderate-level dishes are still manageable for home cooks with some cooking experience and a willingness to try new things.
Hard Recipe Level
While not many of our recipes will fall into this category, those that do offer a rewarding challenge, especially for adventurous cooks. Think of it as an opportunity to test your skills and tackle something new and exciting, like a complex dessert.
The majority of my recipes fall into the easy to moderate range. However, as someone who loves cooking and frequently experiments in the kitchen, I understand that trying new ingredients or investing time in a recipe can be intimidating for some. That’s why I’ll always indicate the difficulty level and highlight any new and exciting ingredients. Additionally, I’ll provide an overview of the time required for preparation, with most recipes ranging from 30 minutes to an hour, often with periods of inactive preparation such as marinating or baking.
